Project: Find Queso a New Loving Forever-Home!

We are now an OFFICIAL 501c3! This is exciting news for us and YOU!

With your help we can make a difference in giving back! We have so many ideas on how you can help us, animals and children!

Our first official project through Happy Hooves Healing Hearts will be building a fence and deck for Queso and his mom.

Queso came to us as an owner surrender last August. We agreed to find him a home and we NEVER gave up on him. One of My Love Fur Paws’ clients saw Queso’s picture in the front lobby and told her friend Janice about him. Janice called that very same day and wanted to come and visit Queso. It was a match made and it was love at first sight. The two of them hit it off right away. Queso listened to her and respected her when they went for a walk. He was very attentive to Janice and did so well that she wanted to adopt him. There’s was one hitch: no fenced in yard. In the past she had never needed a fenced in yard. Her dogs of many years that have passed on did well without one, but Queso is different. He is a hunting dog by nature and his prey drive is high, so as his foster mom and family we knew it would best to only send Queso to a loving home with a fence.

Well, we are doing just that! With the help of MLFP customers and friends of Janice, Queso will have a nice fenced in area and his mom will have a small deck to watch the sunsets with Queso. This is what it all about folks. People coming together to help others in need and we would love to do more of this with your help!

Thank you to all that believe in Queso as much as we do! We are so excited to go buy the material needed and build him a deck and fence. We have volunteers that will be helping us build the fence on the 7th and 8th and Queso will go to his new home on the 9th! We will be sure to post pictures of the project and him enjoying his new home!
